DRA was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) by Omaha Public Schools to manage and construct the additions and renovations to Nathan Hale Middle School.  

The project included multiple additions and complete renovation of the school over a 20-month construction period.  The school was occupied and in operation during the majority of the construction.  This was accomplished by multiple phases and extensive temporary construction to ensure the maintenance of safety, security, and schedule.

The scope of the project included kitchen storage, loading dock, front entry, administration and "Safe Room"/common space additions.  It also included major renovation of the existing 140,000 sf of the building including major fire suppression, electrica, mechanical, data, phone, clocks, fire alarm, security, and finish renovations.

DRA was selected for this project after the successful completion of previous OPS design-bid-build projects.
