D. R. Anderson competitively bid and was awarded the renovation and additions of Carriage Hill Elementary by the PLCS School Board.  The project included classroom, administrative office, secure entrance, and kitchen additions.  All classrooms were renovated during the project which also included mechanical, electrical, low voltage, and fire suppression replacements and improvements throughout the building.  

Due to extensive phasing and staff coordination the project was completed early and in time for the school year.

D. R. Anderson Constructors Co. competitively bid and was awarded the additions and renovation project of Anderson Grove Elementary by the PLCS School Board.  

DRA was chosen to construct ACCESSbank's new branch in the AKSARBEN development area.  The construction of the branch was completed during a 6 month time period and significant budget savings were provided to the client. 

DRA was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) by Omaha Public Schools to manage and construct the additions and renovations to Nathan Hale Middle School.  

The project included multiple additions and complete renovation of the school over a 20-month construction period.  The school was occupied and in operation during the majority of the construction.  This was accomplished by multiple phases and extensive temporary construction to ensure the maintenance of safety, security, and schedule.

DR Anderson completed a remodel of the Boys Town Youth Care Building. This project was a complete remodel of approximately 30,000 SF that had not been updated since the 1970’s. The project included two new stairwells from the first to the basement level, an elevator restoration, all new mechanical equipment, electrical, lighting, data, flooring, curved architectural ceilings, glass handrail, all wood trim, new bathrooms, doors, hardware, casework, windows, and a court yard renovation. DR Anderson and its subcontractor team removed and replaced the roof structure on UNMC’s Central Utility Plant. Originally built in 1919, and expanded in the 1940’s, the existing wood timber roof structure was removed and replaced with modern steel fire resistant construction. The project was completed over the summer months while maintaining the fully functioning boiler plant below. A temporary scaffold/roof structure was built in the plant to protect boilers, insulation, controls, and high voltage electrical gear in the basement.

D.R. Anderson (DRA) successfully bid and was awarded this renovation project with Metropolitan Community College at their South Omaha Campus. Upon selection, DRA proposed value-engineering options which provided in excess of $40,000 in savings to MCC.

DR Anderson successfully completed this facility for Metropolitan Community College as a link to bring their existing facilities together with a new public library and transportation facility. This building also serves as a student center with public meeting areas and numerous classrooms.

D.R. Anderson (DRA) successfully negotiated this renovation project with Pinnacle Bank. DRA was selected for this project based on our qualifications and fee for this cost-plus GMP project delivery.
