D.R. Anderson (DRA) successfully negotiated this design build project with Ash Grove and Studio 360 Architects. DRA was selected for this project based on our qualifications and fee for this cost-plus GMP project delivery.

DRA and Studio 360 worked together to establish the project budget while meeting the client’s needs for a first class office in the heart of their existing plant. The project features extensive use of Ash Grove Cement in the precast walls, exposed concrete floors, and concrete roof decks.

Additionally, as part of Ash Grove’s commitment to sustainability, this building has been designed and constructed to obtain an energy star rating for building construction. To meet this requirement an efficient heating and cooling system has been designed utilizing heat pumps and a fluid cooler in addition to a high-efficiency building envelope with increased R-values and additional steps to minimize air infiltration.
